Graphics 405 Final Project - Java Terrain Rasterizer (from scratch)
https://github.com/Smackledorf/Java-Terrain-Rasterizer
My project goal was to create a 3D terrain editor as you would find in many modern 3D modeling softwares and game engines. The idea is fairly simple on paper - a flat plane in a realtime GUI, and as your click on faces, your mouse is treated like a brush - the faces move up more the longer you drag on top of them, and the “brush” has a size and opacity/strength. In practice, this proved very tricky.
